The club stocks the Sewickley Heights area with pheasants 3 times annually. Not only is there enjoyment from hunting the stocked birds, many non members enjoy seeing our stocked birds running around when they are hiking or shooting trap by the creek.
The tradition of bird hunting in Sewickley Heights began generations ago. In fact, our club would run field trials and training session for pointing breeds, like English Setters, in the Sewickley Heights Park. The shelter still remains standing in the woods.
